Happy Birthday Jack

It's been 19 years since Jack Kirby passed away and yet his legacy lives on still to this day. He is remembered in his comics and through the super heroes he effortlessly created, ranging from the Fantastic Four through to Marvel comics first black hero the Black Panther.

Kirby created a new era of story telling through his comics, bringing an almost cinematic style of motion to his characters. He gave the characters freedom, allowing them to break away from the frame work in which previous comics restrained them.

Along with Stan Lee, Kirby has gone down not only in Marvel history but comic history as one of the greats, so from all of us here at Marvel Mouth we'd like to say Happy Birthday Jack.
