In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Gordon-Levitt said, “There is always a lot of rumorsaround
these projects and so far it is still only discussions. I am always very transparent when it comes to my role and my career. I’m usually the first to speak and communicate with my fans if something happens . If you hear nothing from me, they are just rumors .”
So he pretty much shoots down the rumors saying if he has accepted the role he would tell the fans, but does mention there has been discussions and talks.
Could he be up for another role Doctor Strange maybe or is it just simply that they are still in early stages of talks.
