War Machine to join the fight against Ultron

We all knew with a new Avengers film would come more super heroes and after the announcement of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver it comes as no surprise that War Machine is to join the action.

USA Today have confirmed that Golden Globe nominee Don Cheadle will reprise his role as War Machine in the upcoming Marvel film 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. It still remains unknown how Rhodey and indeed War Machine will fit into the Avengers but director Joss Whedon did mention he was adding more superheroes to the list.

This news also hints to the rumors that Tony Stark will be Ultrons creator and that Jarvis is likely to turn rogue and inevitably transform into the main villain of the Avengers sequel. In Iron Man 3 we saw Jarvis thinking for itself and making decisions. Add that to the scene where we see the Mark 42 suit attack Pepper in her sleep as a result of Tony's nightmare and you have pretty good foundations for birth of Ultron.

Where will Rhodey/War Machine fit in though? Will Rhodey be a part of the team that helps Tony create the A.I or will War Machine be a part of the fight? This is unclear at the point but I for one will be glad to see Rhodey return as he is a vital part of the Iron Man franchise. What are your thoughts on this?
